The SAP HANA translator, known by the name of hana, is for use with SAP HANA.

The pushdown of the SUBSTRING function is inconsistent with the Teiid Spring Boot SUBSTRING function when the FROM index exceeds the length of the string. SAP HANA will return an empty string, while Teiid Spring Boot produces a null value.
